Located in the heart of the Innovation Campus, The Flats and Suites Residency Halls are the newest higher-education housing option at Wichita State University. This complex contains all of the community amenities students are looking for today in their steps toward independent living.
Each apartment is fully furnished and comes with a full kitchen, washer & dryer, and a large common space with furniture.
The Flats are geared for upper upperclassmen. The 232,000-square-foot residential complex contains 284 beds in 1- to 4-bedroom configurations. The complex includes a private clubhouse, an in-ground pool area with BBQ grills, a sand volleyball court and gated, reserved underground parking.
Located next to The Flats, The Suites is a 175,000-square-foot, 220-bed residence hall designed for first-year students. The building features primarily 2-bedroom suites, with some 1- and 4 bedroom units scattered throughout the building. Amenities include common areas and game room.

Taking into consideration the overall campus master plan, this design responded to the strong traditions of Kansas State University’s campus while providing a unique expression of its own design.
