This 10,000-square-foot, single-story building consolidates multiple Andover office locations into one facility in order to meet South Central Mental Health’s growing client and service needs. The new space provides an upgraded security, allows for separation of different client types, solves sound attenuation issues, and provides additional rooms for large groups.
GLMV worked to include an effective circulation pattern for the entire facility. The building footprint provides economical solution to allow separation of clients while streamlining staffing requirements, providing
maximum patient privacy and staff safety. Site improvements for parking, handicap stalls and access points from the North road are also included. . Construction was completed in 2020. GLMV provided architecture, civil engineering, cost estimating, interior design, landscape architecture, and project management to the project.

The new Advanced Learning Library defines what a library of the 21st century and beyond should look like. Breaking down the traditional model of the library as a “warehouse for books,” the new 106,500-square-foot Advanced Learning Library enhances its presence as a community hub.
Inspired by the need to extend emergency medical care, Kansas Medical Center’s Freestanding Emergency Department provides emergency care and radiology services to a growing population. GLMV worked closely with Kansas Medical Center staff to implement high-end finishes, open spaces, and large amounts of daylighting to create a more hospitality-centered environment.
