WSU Innovation Campus Master Plan

It’s not every day that we get the opportunity to completely transform a nationally recognized institution. But in working on the consultant team for Wichita State University’s Innovation Campus master plan, we were given the opportunity to provide a framework for transformation at WSU. Our number one goal was to provide a vision for campus development, landscape, and circulation that best supports the University’s mission to equip both students and the community to thrive.

TESSERE provided master planning services to Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas as part of the University’s Innovation Campus transformation, along with Sasaki Associates. The master plan includes a 147,000-square-foot experiential engineering building, a 162,000-square-foot business school, 500-bed student housing, a 26,000-square-foot central energy plant, mixed-used and hotel spaces, parking expansion, and greenspace.
