GLMV developed a new master plan for Foley Equipment, the only Caterpillar dealer in Kansas that culminated into a new facility build. The company, which sells, services, and rents out heavy construction equipment at multiple locations throughout Kansas and Missouri, has experienced huge growth in the last several years and, consequently, found itself in need of a new space.
The project consists of two buildings which host a number of functions, including parts storage, a service center, sales offices, and a rental counter. The plan also included demolishing existing buildings and developing a new Return to Rent Building as well as a new Parts and Service Building. These new buildings are adjacent to Foley’s long-time headquarters on the same campus.
The 12,700-square-foot Return to Rent Building supports Foley Rental and includes 3 wash bays and a lube bay. It was completed in December of 2016.
The 146,600-square-foot Parts and Service Building includes a customer lobby, parts counter, parts warehouse, hydraulic hose shop, 16 “super-bay” service facility, sales and administrative offices. The project also included extensive site work and landscaping along West Street.
