Anchored at the heart of the Kansas State University campus, this alumni center is a retreat among the hubbub of fast-paced university activity. Designed to blend seamlessly within the existing university environment, the stately limestone building serves as a beautiful addition to the historic campus.
This three-story, 52,000-square-foot alumni center is surrounded by extensive green space and lush landscaping. The facility includes a memorabilia room with library, 400-seat banquet facility and catering kitchen, formal great room, café/lounge, board room with views into Memorial Stadium, multipurpose rooms, and administrative areas.

Taking into consideration the overall campus master plan, this design responded to the strong traditions of Kansas State University’s campus while providing a unique expression of its own design. Creativity and implementation of unique architectural features are emphasized throughout the project, exhibiting principles of New Urbanism.
Responding to the needs of a growing student body, our team designed these dual facilities for Newman University. The two are linked to the center of campus and connected by a rotunda that ties and unifies both facilities. Spaces were designed to be as inclusive and flexible as possible to maximize engagement and use by students and visitors alike.
