Fire Station

The only fire station in Clinton, Oklahoma was built as a WPA project in 1939. The historic two-bay facility had served the community well, but increasingly complex needs were straining the station and many vehicles and equipment were being stored off-site. After the community voted to construct a new facility, we designed a state-of-the-art, six-bay station to bring all their needs together under one roof.

Project Details

GLMV designed this 19,000-square-foot remodel for the city of Clinton, Oklahoma. For maximum flexibility, the facility has six bays capable of storing up to 14 fire department vehicles. Sleeping quarters for up to 12 firefighters are also included as well as administrative offices, dayroom, exercise room, kitchen/dining room, a vehicle wash bay and a hose-drying tower.
