GLMV provided overall design management and designer of record services for full architectural, construction administration, sustainability, and interior and landscape disciplines for this design-build project which renovated Building 28000 to accommodate the 1st Cavalry Division Headquarters and Command Operations at Fort Hood.
This three-story, 135,800-square-foot renovation included a roof-mounted antenna platform, tactical sensitive compartmented information (SCIF) vehicle area for tactical vehicle parking, a parking area for non-SCIF-ready tactical vehicles, loading and service areas, site/utilities, landscaping, and a temporary swing space.
