GLMV worked with the Wichita Art Museum to renovate the front entry vestibule and make improvements to the Living Room Space and Art Studio. The renovation of the vestibule provides a new welcome area, additional access to the galleries, and new furnishings.
The Living Room Space included the demolition of the existing elements such as the ramp and other walls. The finish improvements include new floor finishes for the various activities hosted in the room, minor wall work at the stairs, wall “niches” for seating, a new storage room, new wall paint, and replacement of the lighting heads on the existing track lighting. The Art Studio improvements included new laminate over existing casework and new wall paint.
