With a nod to our firm’s 1919 roots and an eye to the future, we undertook this renovation in a juxtaposition of historical preservation and state-of-the-art sustainability. Contemporary finishes and furnishings are included within the confines of original, exposed building elements, resulting in a beautiful work environment and the creation of a local landmark that has spurred downtown growth.
This 30,000-square-foot renovation transformed a 1931 Packard auto dealership into LEED Silver headquarters for our architectural services firm in Wichita, Kansas. The two-story building is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and required extensive renovation while maintaining a number of original design features.
