The completed 135,000‑square‑foot middle school was designed to accommodate 700 students in a single‑story layout constructed with load‑bearing masonry walls and a steel structural system. Seventh and eighth grades are organized into their own dedicated academic pods, while shared academic support spaces are centrally located to promote flexibility and efficiency across a variety of teaching methods.
The facility includes administrative and student‑support offices, general classrooms, science labs, technology labs, vocal and instrumental music rooms, a competitive gymnasium and practice gym with locker rooms, and a full commercial kitchen serving the faculty and student dining cafeteria. Additional spaces include a library, art labs, and various academic support areas. All classrooms and labs are wired for technology, integrated with computers and overhead projection systems.
Site improvements include paved parking, a competition football field, tennis courts, and additional athletic fields. The new middle school opened to students in fall 2010.
