Kiowa County Commons, Greensburg, Kansas - Kiowa County is proposing to build a new building that will replace community services that were previously destroyed by the tornado. The Library, Historic Museum and the K-State extension office would be a part of this new community building. As excitement has grown with the multi-concept facility a new community service was conceived. This media center was created as a pilot program offering an internet based radio and television station. This unique concept will create a media portal for Kiowa County to the rest of the world. As this project became further developed the name Kiowa County Commons appeared to be appropriate as a gathering place for the community to further celebrate their culture.
