The scope of this project was to relocate two libraries and create a new larger facility that would service the southeast section of the city of Wichita. As a tribute to Lionel D. Alford, a local leader in the aircraft industry and community service, the library was designed to be inviting to patrons, while imparting a feeling of flight.All materials used on this site, including all images, are copyrighted and are protected by copyright laws.
