Kansas Veterans Cemetery WaKeeney, KS The GLMV/MKEC Cemetery Design team was selected to provide planning services for an 11-acre parcel located southeast of WaKeeney, Kansas, for a new veterans cemetery. The cemetery provides space for approximately 5,000 five-foot by ten-foot graves, with the following facilities: Columbarium, Committal Service Shelter, Landscaping, Signage, Site Furnishings, Utilities, Grave Location Markers, and Internal Roadways.
