Alton National Cemetery – Alton, IL




As part of an IDIQ team, with Lewis, Scully & Gionet and others, GLMV provided design services to renovate the historic entrance steps and entrance structure/rostrum along with miscellaneous site improvements at the Alton National Cemetery, Illinois. Work included historic restoration to the sidewalk, metal handrail, concrete entrance, walls, entrance and removing overhead power lines. The design team also evaluated ADA requirements for handicapped access.
