Providing state-of-the-art medical services, this was originally constructed as a 47,000-square-foot hospital containing 22 patient beds, three OR’s, ten ICU beds and two Cath Labs. Also included were an in-patient suite, recovery area, surgery suite, pharmacy, laboratory and other support areas. A 9,490 square foot expansion was later completed to accommodate four additional ICU rooms, Pre-Op, one additional Cath Lab and one additional OR, as well as ten additional patient rooms. A recent 8,000-square-foot addition contains a conference room, locker/lounge, CT scanner, and quality assurance areas. The medical office building, containing nearly 50,000 square feet is connected to the Kansas Heart Hospital. It houses two cardiology groups and a surgical practice.
