GLMV’s interior designers continue to raise the bar in creating beautiful, comfortable and efficient environments for businesses. The remodel of KMUW Radio Station, led by Catie Shaffer and Matt Cortez, received a Merit Award for Excellence in Interior Design during AIA Wichita’s Awards Night.

For over 35 years, Wichita’s listener-supported public radio station had broadcast from a former run-down space near Wichita State University. KMUW was ready for a drastic change to Old Town Wichita, where our TESSERE team remodeled a 7,000-square-foot office space to create an inviting atmosphere for the public while maintaining a strong branding presence throughout the space. The newly renovated KMUW space has been immensely popular with a collaborative space for staff, donors and community members throughout the building.

TESSERE designers apply the latest trends in color, texture and material to best represent our clients. For more information on TESSERE Architecture services or the KMUW Radio Station remodel, visit our portfolio page or contact us at (316)265-9367.
